It hasn’t been said enough how emotional a day January 20, 2009 was! It can’t be expressed enough how emotional millions of Americans [and fellow citizens of the world] felt yesterday witnessing history.
I’ve never felt so emotional and excited about any inauguration for any US President or world leader! I was beyond ecstatic and filled with anticipation! What was this I was feeling? Will I ever feel this way again? How can I relive this moment? These were some of the questions that ran through my head as I watched EVERY moment of inaugural coverage I could find on TV.
I wanted to talk to everyone I knew and some I didn’t about what yesterday meant to them. I couldn’t get enough of the pre-inaugural events to the last ball… I wanted to be there with President and Mrs. Obama, Sasha, Malia and everyone else who was there to celebrate this great moment in time. Since we can’t turn back the hands of time; I wanted to share this slide show with those who haven’t seen it of yesterday’s behind the scene events.
